I think what the person was going for who made this sign was “ELECTION IN PROGRESS” … although if ERECTION IN PROGRESS what was intended, what’s going on in the building just got more interesting.

Based on this picture I can only assume that all Burger King employees spell meat with two e’s rather than with an “ea”.  Although maybe Burger King does use meet instead of meat in their hamburgers.  And this spelling is totally correct.  If that’s the case, that would sure explain the strange taste of the last Whopper I had.

I love foreign signs that don’t translate all that well into English.  They always seems to say something weird, stupid or make little or no sense.  Take this one for example. Somehow I find it hard to believe that the writing says Fall Down Carefully. Although on the off chance that it does, it’s nice of them to tell people this … because if someone begins to fall they’ll know thanks to this sign not to fall recklessly.
