I think what the person was going for who made this sign was “ELECTION IN PROGRESS” … although if ERECTION IN PROGRESS what was intended, what’s going on in the building just got more interesting.

I like to keep a sign like this hanging outside my house, just so visitors will be prepared for what might be going on inside.
