I guess this means that kid isn’t going to give that old woman any money. Unless the middle finger in that country means I don’t have any money right now, but I’m going to the bank and I’ll be back later and give you some then. If that’s the case, this girl is an upstanding young citizen that all her friends at school can look up to. Somehow though, I think the middle finger means the same thing there that it does here.
In an unrelated middle finger incident: it happened when I was in high school and was out running one day for gym class. It was our big end of the year city race. I was running with my friend, we were first and second as I recall, and he saw a prostitute and thought it would be funny to flip her the bird as we ran past. She didn’t think it was so funny and started to chase him. I couldn’t believe how fast she could run in high heeled shoes. It was impressive. She ended up catching him, kicking him in the balls, calling him a fag, and then going back to her corner. It was funny. Even the Chinese man who worked at the produce store this happened in front of couldn’t help but laugh.
And just in case you were wondering, yes, I did win the race. The first and only time I ever finished first. Yay for me!

Oh my! I hate kids doing that, but then they see that middle finger a lot to elders and they copy it and thought it is fun thing to do and cool. It is sad to know that kids nowadays are more untamed.

The picture look like to be taken in Indonesia. Anyway, I saw an old beggar once and he flipped his middle finger for those who don’t put a nickle in his bowl. I wonder how much he will earn by the end of the day
