When I saw this commercial for Pronto Condoms I immediately thought of George Costanza from the TV show Seinfeld. He complained that the wrappers were too hard to open … but with this product, I couldn’t imagine even him having a problem. Then again it is George Costanza and I’m sure he’d find some way to screw it up. Excuse the pun.
I liked Jerry Seinfeld’s remark about why condom wrappers are hard to open; so the woman has one last chance to change her mind. That’s a good point. With Pronto Condoms though, that extra few seconds is taken away where the woman’s better judgement can kick in and she can say, “yeah, I don’t think so. I’ve changed my mind.” If that’s taken away, imagine all the regretful mornings there will be. The woman will wake up and see the guy lying next to her and she’ll think to herself, “Ah crap. I didn’t sleep with that did I? Damn those Pronto Condoms.” They’ll become every woman’s Newman … and every guy’s secret weapon.

You know … Pronto missed the boat by not having Georgie do their advertising for them. Although, if George Costanza used something would you want to use the same thing? I doubt it.
Don’t get me wrong I LOVE George, but he is what my hubby calls “inadequate”.
