I think it’s great when homeless-down-on-their-luck people come up with creative signs to earn themselves a little extra money. With the economy sucking the way it is you have to go that extra mile to get someone to part with that little bit of extra change jingling around in their pocket. Normally I don’t give money to homeless people, but for this guy I would make the exception and give him a few bucks cause I like his sign. It’s funny. It made me laugh.
Of course this isn’t the kind of change Barrack Obama was talking about. At least I don’t think it is. Although when he does take over as president of the United States I don’t think he’s going to complain too much if there’s a little extra money in the government coffers to spend on needed things. So maybe this was exactly the kind of change he was talking about. In that case, I’d like to place myself third in line behind Obama and this homeless guy for wanting it as well. Cause in the end, don’t we all want change?

I also would have given him change. A fiver even, and this is from someone that NEVER gives change and NEVER chats to charity collectors…
With all the time on their hands, homeless people should be more creative, I bet it would work.

I also have never been one to give to “panhandlers” (as we used to call them centuries ago!!!
This fellow looks a though he is good at what he does…he looks relatively clean, shoes are in good shape from what I can see, his socks are sparkling white…it looks like he is “getting change”

I would have tossed him a buck, too.
The whole “change!” thing in the Obama campaign reminded me of that Southpark episode in which the homeless invaded the city and wandered around begging for change.
The sign, then, seems appropriate…

I once came across a man, as I was leaving a baseball game, who was holding a sign that said “I’ll bust out your boss’s car window for a buck.”

i see it the same way like you. if he not just asking for change but is finding a funny way to entertain people they should give him at leaste a dollar. i would give him one. he had a great idea and i like this kind of busniss man at their world and their prospects.

This is a great sign and he’s right on the money with that saying. Just wait and see Obama supporters!
