Nobody asks to be born … so whether it’s on purpose or by accident at least have the decency to give the kid a name that’s not going to be a running joke for the rest of his life. I don’t have anything against the names Charley, Willard, Horse or Dick. Those are all fine … but when you combine the words horse and dick into one name, that’s got problems written all over it. I hope this kid won’t mind getting a wedgie everyday for the rest of his life.

(laughing) I hate to laugh, but you’re right, couldn’t they have at least left Horse or Dick out of the line up? And where did the name Horse come from anyway? It isn’t in either of his parents names. Who was “Horse” some ancient Indian tribesman ancestor or their favorite pet?
How on earth can people be so heartless…makes you wonder if it isn’t some kind of joke, but you can find names like this written in the paper all the time. There should be a law against it…

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. I think I would have loved being called horse dick while growing up. Sure would beat some of the names I HAVE been called, that is for certain. Hell, even now it would be nice to hear from time to time.
