I showed this picture to my girlfriend and she didn’t really find it that funny. Instead of being funny, she thought it bordered more on child abuse. Personally I think it’s quite amusing, but that’s me … and I’m twisted. I’m not so quick to assume that folding a kid in half and stuffing him into a cart and pulling him along behind you all over the city does border on abuse. If you think about it, maybe the family are a group of circus performers and this is a form of training to become more flexible; each generation is folded in half and stuffed in a confined space to increase their limberness. That’s plausible. People do perform in the circus. It’s a noble profession populated by clowns, magicians, knife throwers, acrobats, sideshow freaks … and people that can be folded in half and stuffed into carts. They’re not there just for kicks. They’re there to entertain us. It’s takes dedication. And sometimes that dedication isn’t pretty to witness. This could be one of those cases. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think the kid looks like he’s complaining all that much. Maybe traveling around like that is his thing. I can’t argue that it does beat walking. His little legs could get tired trying to keep up. Who’s to say. I’m not one to pass judgment. Then again, maybe his mother is nothing but a dirty whore who doesn’t want to spend the money she earns from being a prostitute on a proper baby stroller, but instead spend it on crack and fishnet stockings. In that case, this picture is disgusting and please disregard most of what I said.
