Some dogs are stupid and some are smart. In my lifetime I’ve had at least one of each. But I’ve never had one that was so stupid that it would attack its’ own foot because it thought its’ foot was going to steal its’ bone. I’ve heard of biting the hand that feeds you, but biting your own foot is a whole different thing. Unless that foot is possessed by the Devil and you have no choice. In that case I could see the reasoning behind it. But I’m pretty sure this dog’s foot isn’t possessed.
